Ghurel Pashupatinath Temple-Biaora
The Pashupati Nath Ghurel temple of historical importance is heavily crowded every year on shrawan Monday, this temple is situated between the town Biaora and Suthalia, its distance is 15 kilometers from the Biaora, there is also a cave near the temple, worship of Bholenath continues here for years .Tthe giant statue of Pashupatinath was installed in 1993, which is 7 feet high, here on the Makar Sakranti mela is held and people in large numbers from various parts came here.
Here Kavad Yatra is being held in the city on the hariyali amavasya for the past many years. The pilgrims involved in the area along with the Kavadiyas of the area rest at the Shiv Mandir at Suthalia and bring water from Parvati river at Ghoghara Ghat at 5 am. After this, duly worshiped on the statue of Lord Shankar, situated on the hill of Ghurel, about 16 km away, and abhisek it with the water of Parvati river.
With the shouts of Kavadiya Baba Bholenath, the main road to the city reaches the Parlapura Ram Temple, Sadar Bazar Shiva Temple, Biaora Road, and the Ghurail Pashupatinath Temple where Lord Bholenath’s Jalabhishek is performed. People involved in this journey are greeted by city dwellers with fruits, kheer, sabudana khichdi etc.
